God's Love
Hey Friend, if this helps you, you're more than welcome! These are my own revelations, pertinent especially for me, but if they also work for you, great First off - I can't begin to tell you how important it is for me to talk to myself about God! Try talking to yourself about God and pretty soon, you'll start to understand what I'm saying here. Talk to yourself about God and talk to God about yourself! O.K. now what about God's love? Well, according to the Bible, faith works by love! To me this means, when I get a good handle on God's love, then my faith will work for me! To do this I have to talk to myself about God and His love for me. God loves me so much that He blots out all my sins, (now get this) FOR HIS OWN SAKE, AND REMEMBERS THEM NO MORE! WOW! This is in the Bible - Isaiah 43-25 This is the same way I feel about those close to me! If I don't forgive and forget any of their transgressions against me, I'll only be hurting myself. These people are important to me!	To me, what Isaiah wrote means to me that God must consider me awfully important to Him! Wow! Who me? Yep! Little old me is important to God Himself! But why? How come? I'm not good most of the time. I don't preach, except for this letter. I do so much of what I'm not supposed to do according to the church, etc.. Near as I can figure, I'm important 'cause He made me! He forgives me and forgets 'cause He loves me and wants a relationship with me. He even sent His Son, Jesus to come down here to purchase me for Himself! I was bought for a mighty high price, - the life of Jesus! I belong to Him! I'm His property! I'm extremely valuable! WOW! Does He ever care for me! (He cares for you too! Same way - only you got to get to know it!) God takes good care of His property! Not only was I bought for such a high price, but Jesus took my place when He was here and through His suffering, I don't have to be sick anymore! By His suffering, I was healed. Talk about the love of God WOW!	My role is to believe it! And that's no problem once I get the facts about God's love for me straight. God gave me "the measure of faith", so there's no excuse for me not to achieve. If I'm important to God, like I just proved, then I know that what's important to me is important to God too! I can't fail once I get it into my system that I really am loved by God and that I'm important to Him. Ain't God great? I love God, 'cause He loves me so much! I don't know Him very well, but I love Him 'specially 'cause He loves me! With faith, nothing can defeat me, I can conquer anything, but only if I know His love, 'cause faith works by love! The more I talk to myself about this whole thing, the stronger I get! I sure love God and I love you too ' cause God loves you just the same way God loves me!
